When did your baby crawl forward?

my baby has been scooting on her bum crawling backwards and creeping all over since she was six months old, but she just started crawling forwards now at eight months old...she also likes to crawl around on her hands and feet not just her hands and knees, and can pull her self to kneeling on everything that she comes into contact with that is bigger then her and even sometimes will pull to standing, when did your babies do this and did it mean they were going to walk soon? and if so how soon after?
