Michigan State University pros/cons, qualifications?

Hi, I'm a junior in high school. I was looking into Michigan State University because i would like to get into zoology and was wondering what are the pros and cons of the program AND the university as a whole. Also, I have a 3.7 GPA, take AP cles, in 3 clubs, have volunteered for 15 hours so far, went on two job shadows, figure skater, swimmer, runner, rock climber, kayaker, and i live in Iowa. Do you think i have a chance so far as to getting in??
