Do women need more forplay than men do ??

because im not in the mood to have if i just jump into it.and have .... if we hug kiss caress and just enjoy eachother its better but im not sur what else i can do to learn on how to enjoy .. i am new at the whole ordeal soo im a blank slate right now ... i just dont understand why even when i have it doesnt feel good ...
