Why is Debbie Werman-Schultz doing what is described in this article?

The Floridians wanted to be a more important part of the process. They broke the rules and so the Democratic Party punished them. The Republican Party punished the Republicans as well (seating only half the delegates). Now, there is so much wrangling over how to get Florida to count the local democrats are angered. It is just more drama, noise and show signifying nothing.
