What is the best food to feed my 10 week old kitten?

Ive had my kitten 2 weeks now and have been feeding him Whiskas kitten meat in jelly along with Purina dry food, is it best to have a mixture of meat and dry food?? I am feeding him small portions 3 times a day. advice please......
