Want to start free tutoring program for a few city schools, need help on how to start?

I would go to a local school district office and ask to speak to someone, they will take the time to listen to your idea. Bringing in strangers to the school grounds, that are not known by any students, might not be doable in todays world, too much risk factor. But its a great idea, and worth discussing with the school district you would like to start this with. The school would have to be accepting of your background checks, those are not free, and honestly, friends you know their long term history, are the only ones you should vouch for, half the time the molesters and murderers neighbors had no idea of the persons criminal mind, but family and any friends saw signs of illness while growing up with them, so be leary of who you bring in if they schools are going to accept your help. Very nice wonderful idea. wrong time in the world though honestly.
