Is it true that first babies usually come late?

Statistically it is true that the majority of first babies are born after their due date. Only 5 percent of all babies are actually born on their due date. Due dates are estimates. Your body is not wrong. Babies SHOULD come when they are ready, which can be a couple of weeks before or a couple of weeks after your doctor's estimate.
