In which countries do they kill family members to protect family honor?

In many countries such as Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Palestine, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Italy (particularly Sicily ), maybe Greece, Cyprus, the Srerbia, Albania and other Balkan region countries, some African countries such as Nigeria, Kenya, ---the list is long. Some times the murder is committed not to save the honour of the family but to save proerty going with the women as inheritence to another family. There are certainly other reasons for this heinous act and not socalled "saving" the honour. The criminals are usually--but not always--poor, illiterate, stupid, fanatical, or mentally weak persons. Tragedy is that because of wide-spread disregard of the civilized norms, weak judiciary, corrupt police and bureaucracy, such acts often go unpunished, further emboldening the culprits.
