I just adopted a german shepherd/american eskimo mix, he doesnt look like neitheir breed, anybody own this mix

the paperwork said gsd/american eskimo, hes 20.3 pounds and 4 months 2 weeks, he has straight up black ears and nose, just doesnt look like neitheir breed, if anybody has seen this mix or owns one, please please please email or answer so i know what size i should be looking at
