Has anyone ever had a bengal cat?

i was thinking of getting one and just wanted to know from a person who has had one what they are like rather than just listening to all the stuff i have read on websites about them. i have two dogs and a toddler, all the reports i have read said that these cats get on fine with dogs and children do you know any different?
